We are surrounded by a world of which we know little. If we treat our familiar reality as only one form, beyond which there is a completely different world, it raises a number of curious questions: How is real life similar to fantasy life? Why can a building kiss God? Are masks really our alter egos? What is the true function of imagination? Is it possible to live in a world of total joy? Is the very birth of man a magic?
We see things, phenomena, and events every day without thinking or feeling that the world is layered and that behind the material world we are accustomed to, there are many others in parallel. It is safe for us to think that the fantasy assumption is an element that does not exist in the familiar reality, that exists only in folk tales and tall tales or solely in the author's imagination. And these are the very fictional worlds, nonhumans, magic, and so forth. But is it true?
The works on view at the exhibition invite you to engage in a dialogue on this subject and help you to look beyond the conventional, to throw away conventions, to act truthfully and allow yourself to be in two opposing worlds at the same time, and this is where magic begins.
